Alejandro Diaz Horstmann

Investment Associate

Alejandro joined ETF Partners as an Investment Analyst in 2023 and became an Investment Associate in 2026.

Alejandro previously worked in Private Debt at Teylor, Acquisitions at Arbio, and International Trade at Kaufland. He grew up in seven countries spanning Europe, Asia, and America, and as such brings a uniquely international and cosmopolitan perspective to the table.

An active participant in rugby, windsurfing, and skiing, his passion extends beyond the professional sphere into an active and adventurous lifestyle. He also enjoys spending time in nature, listening to music, and doing photography.

He is a graduate of the University of St. Gallen.

What do you believe is the most important issue that needs to be solved over the next 10 years?

I firmly believe that the most pressing issue we must tackle within the next decade is the dual challenge of fostering global unity and combating climate change. This will require the nurturing and cultivation of leaders that are equipped with the resolve, empathy, and innovative thinking to bridge divides and bring sustainable solutions to the fore.
