Q

What do you believe is the most important issue that needs to be solved over the next 10 years?

A

I believe sustainability stands as one of the most urgent and consequential challenges of the coming decade. We have a responsibility to leave the environment in a better state than the one we inherited, and that responsibility grows heavier with each passing year.

Humanity has benefited enormously from the progress of previous generations and from the rapid evolution of technology. Yet the same technology that has enabled our prosperity has also contributed to the environmental pressures we now face. Its power is immense—capable of amplifying both harm and hope. If we design and deploy technology with the right intentions, the right goals, and the right people behind it, its potential to drive positive change becomes almost limitless.

Sustainability ultimately asks us a deeply human question: What can we give back? As a business manager, a parent, and a citizen of the world, this issue is not abstract to me. It is personal. It shapes how I work, how I raise my children, and how I think about the future we are collectively building.
