Zoe VanderWolk recently represented ETF Partners at Invest Europe’s inaugural Impact Gathering in London, hosted by Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. The event marked the first time Invest Europe had created a dedicated gathering focused fully on impact, building on the momentum of its annual ESG Gatherings and bringing together the PE and VC community for a practical discussion on how impact is delivered in practice.

Zoe delivered a practical presentation to Invest Europe members on ETF Partners’ impact-carry methodology, sharing how impact can be embedded into investment structures and aligned with measurable outcomes.
The discussion spanned value creation, impact measurement and reporting, incentives and alignment, regulatory developments, responsible AI and the evolving role of impact in areas such as defence.

For ETF Partners, the level of engagement was a timely reminder that sustainability and impact are increasingly being judged not by intention alone, but by evidence, execution and the ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes.
