– Kimmo Korpela joins ETF Partners with over two decades’ experience in venture capital and M&A, previously working at private equity firm 3i and environmental technology company Vaisala

LONDON – 30 January 2023 – Europe’s leader in sustainable investing, ETF Partners, today announces the new hire of Venture Partner, Kimmo Korpela. With wide-ranging experience across the venture capital space, as well as 14 years spent in his current role as the Vice President of environmental technology innovators Vaisala, Kimmo adds investing expertise across a myriad of fields and in a variety of roles.

The coming year heralds exciting opportunities for young companies to harness a thriving talent pool and adapt with flexibility to changing circumstances. The need for sustainable innovation is ever-present and with the guiding hand of seasoned investors, these startups can deliver long term results. ETF Partners’ portfolio has illustrated the potential for promising disruptors to succeed, posting 58% growth in 2022, thanks to their timely solutions for urgent problems such as the fuel crisis and the need for greater decarbonisation and reliable sustainability data.
