A brilliant new development from our portfolio Pieter Pot!
The company is expanding their circular packaging offering to also sell wine and specialty beer in reusable bottles.
Together with their partner Riegel Bioweine, the largest organic wine importer in Germany, Pieter Pot are starting a pilot to offer the first circular beverage range in the Netherlands.
Single-use glass has one of the largest #co2 footprints among packaging materials. This is because the production and recycling of glass requires enormous amounts of energy. One of the reasons is the production process, in which, in addition to approximately 330 g CO2/kg glass from energy sources, almost two thirds of process-related emissions are released. For reusable bottles, these emissions are spread over multiple bottle life cycles, reducing total CO2 emissions per use by 35%.
An excellent offering and one we’re proud to support here ETF Partners.
