Next week, as we are all aware, is a significant milestone for the future of climate change, with the UK hosting the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (#COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021.
The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
One such party is our portfolio company Normative.io whose CEO Kristian Rönn will be discussing the company’s work with Google. Normative.io are the world’s leading emissions accounting engine, helping businesses calculate their entire climate footprint and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
Google’s engineers have been supporting Normative.io as they build a free starter version of their market-leading product. Jen Carter of technology and volunteering at Google, recently told CNBC International, “We’re thrilled to provide both funding and tech talent to help Normative build a solution that will make measurement more accessible.”
