Our portfolio company Open Cosmos is boldly going where no satellite solution has gone before with its latest mission launch! The latest Open Cosmos designed satellite, MANTIS, will launch aboard the upcoming SpaceX Transporter 9 mission.

MANTIS is an innovative satellite and will be the first launched under ESA InCubed, a co-funding program by the European Space Agency – ESA Φ-lab, dedicated to commercial development across the Earth observation (EO) value chain. The satellite also features a groundbreaking multispectral, high-resolution optical payload for Earth observation and a secondary payload – a high-performance and reconfigurable processing unit leveraging AI to unlock valuable insights onboard.
